About Me:

My full name is Catherine Diane (Palmer) Walter. Most people call me C.D. I have a B.A. in English from UT Arlington, and worked for several years as a reporter and then a technical writer. In August 2013, I obtained an MS-IS from University of North Texas (UNT) with a focus on Information Organization. I work as a Content Librarian at UT Arlington Libraries. I am interested in writing (creative, scholarly, technical, marketing,etc.), information science, information retrieval, digital libraries, information architecture, metadata, indexing, the Semantic Web, connections among seemingly disparate topics, science (especially physics, mathematics, and evolutionary theory), cultural studies, linguistics, artificial intelligence, cognitive science, etc.
