About Me:
I'm in my fifteenth year of teaching science at Gilmour Academy. Before this, I taught medicinal chemistry at the college level; my formal training is in organic chemistry.
At Gilmour, we focus on critical thinking and communication. I often ask students to read primary papers from scientific journals, so libraries and their resources are very important to me.
This year I was asked to lead the libraries and to help devise a plan to update our Upper School library. I'm interested to hear ideas of what libraries should look like in the future.
