About Me:

I am Ghulam Yasin Malik, from the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, Pakistan. I have done Masters in Library Science from the University of the Punjab 2004-2006. As Executive Member of the PLA Punjab Branch I had actively contributed in organizing the PLA International Golden Jubilee Conference held 28-29 November 2007. At the end of that conference I was awarded a certificate and a shield as acknowledgement of my services. The Punjab Assembly Library is the largest Parliamentary Library of the country with precious and rare legislative books and records. In my efforts in development of libraries in the province and attracting people to the libraries I have played a pivotal role in introducing the Punjab Public Library Act. From the platform of the Punjab Assembly I have struggled for LIS and for filling of library vacancies in schools and colleges of the province.
