About Me:

Wow I didn’t think talking “about me” would be hard, I have worked in libraries for over 25 years. I started in a Medical Library and for the last 20 years I have worked in the school environment. I have never stopped learning and it is exciting to see how libraries have changed throughout my time. I am a Library Information Science Technologist or Library Technician with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Presently I am called a Library Specialist II, every couple of years they change the name. I like to stay current on new issues and would like to learn more on Library 2.0. Our School Board has slashed and burned the libraries in the last 2 years and we need to redefine ourselves or we will become redundant.
