    Blog or Personal/Professional Website:

https://I would like the murky wall between libraries (aka providers of free, unbiased info) and corporatized, for-profit information database companies to come tumbling down immediately. I also want higher education to be more open-minded to the cross-pollenization of pedogogies and disciplines. Oh, and if this is a list for Santa, I want the American ideology of extreme greed to end. All this can happen through social networks developed on the Web! On a more practical level, it would be interesting if database providers included 2.0 technologies in their products so people can feel connected to each other as they proceed along the lonely path of The Information Search. We editors are interested in it, but the upper administrative layer needs to hear about Web 2.0 as a "trend in the marketplace."
