Speakers: Jay Johnston, M.S., M.A., is Executive Director of the Farmington Libraries, Farmington CT. His vision, knowledge of technology, coalition building skill, and belief in the importance of libraries sustain his dedication to a staff centered, customer focused, high-energy model. He has a strong commitment to reengineering library programs to succeed and be relevant through the 21st century. Jay believes that leadership begins at the bottom and works its way up to the top through a holistic theory "Z" approach to leadership development.
