About Me:
Originally from Michigan, I moved to the western slope of Colorado in 2000 and received my MLS from Emporia State University in 2006. I worked in school libraries for about 15 years and served in various leadership roles both at the local and state levels. About 4 years ago, I decided to transition to public libraries, where I manage the New Castle Branch of the Garfield County Public Libraries. I am always looking for a new challenge to motivate me to change and grow. I am excited to engage in professional networking with colleagues, sharing challenges, opportunities, solutions, trends, best practices, and expertise. I am looking forward to being inspired by and learning with all of you.
