    About Me:

In my current role as a Public Library Teen Librarian, my goal is to enhance library programming & outreach services within the Pittsburgh community, while exploring the growing opportunities in job/tech development and inter-generational programming. I also strive to provide outstanding customer service while building on my day-to-day interactions with users of all ages. I enjoy doing a bit of everything – working with teens to improve their research needs or introduce them to a makerspace activity, designing a web page or video tutorial, teaching instruction sessions to any audience, thinking up creative programming ideas for all ages, tinkering with my librarian+stereotypes blog (when I have the time!), providing excellent reference assistance in any library setting, and discovering the endless social medias and technologies that can better promote one’s institution. I also enjoy mastering new challenges to add to my list of skills. I have gained experience in the academic and public setting — in both the library and non-library fields — and possess an expert level of customer service, library instruction, teen-centered programming, and web development.
