About Me:

I have served as a Coordinator at Iowa City Public Library since 1998, leading the Community & A/V Services and Adult Services Departments. Before working at Iowa City Public Library I was Director of the Patients' Library at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and Project Director for the Integrated Area Information Management Systems grant at Hardin Library for the Health Sciences. The Iowa City Public Library is an innovative and responsive community center that supports lifelong learning, literacy, and access to the world of ideas. We are the busiest library building in the state of Iowa. Based on our recent Strategic Plan, ICPL is restructuring improve customer service. Changes include consolidation of public service points and dedicated staff time for technology support, marketing, and community partnerships. I will serve as Coordinator for the new Community Services Department and Team Leader for Marketing and Public Relations.
