https://Solving technical issues related to digital media is not just a network engineering problem anymore --- libraries need to explore methods of communication that brings questions and solutions together in a non-threatening opinion-neutral way. Technical support via traditional computer hardware and software companies borders on ineffective, opinion-driven instead of fact-driven, and demeaning to most average patrons. The library needs to be a place (both virtual and physical) where mutual-respect and shared-responsibility are the ethical standards that guide us as we move forward in the digital media world -- community-by-community.
