About Me:

My name is Licia Kim. I'm in my third semester of the online MLS program at North Carolina State University. I worked as a library aide in the library at Utah Valley University for 1.5 years. I am taking the Academic Library track, although I am also interested in Digital libraries and Archives. I live in Orem, UT with my two rescue cats, Velvet and Shoku. I have one son (28 years old). I grew up in the Intermountain West. I worked in three National Parks (as a tour guide in two of them). I lived in South Korea for nearly 2 years learning Korean (among other things). I have also studied Chinese, Japanese and German. I earned two BA degrees (Asian Studies and History) and I recently earned a Master’s Degree in History.
