About Me:

I am 68 years old and have spent my working life in public libraries in New Zealand. My main areas of interest are technology, collection development and helping my staff develop their skill sets. I have two children both in their 40's and eight months ago, my daughter who lives in Sydney gave birth to my first grandchild. I have since made 3 trips to Australia for important occasions. I have a fox terrier, rescued from the pound and as a result do a lot of walking. I sing in a choir, make cards and am currently improving my Scrabble score with a group of friends. I enjoy watching and helping our Learning and Engagement Team interact with our younger clients and had fun recently playing a musical banana in a STEM programme.
