Frenchtown Learning Commons
About Me:
My name is Lindsey Carley, and this year (2017-2018) will be my 18th year teaching elementary school. I began my career as a 5th grade teacher and after 14 years, I decided to make a change and become a technology integration specialist, which sparked my love in the Learning Commons. This is my 1st year as Frenchtown's Teacher Librarian. New in Trumbull Public Schools this year, we are piloting a Kindergarten through 5th grade Computer Science Curriculum. Students in grades K-5 will develop basic coding skills using blockly to write a program to celebrate a piece of their writing! The students have been so engaged and interested that I decided to offer an after-school enrichment class on Wednesdays so students can dive a little deeper into the world of coding!
