    About Me:

I have been a corporate recruiting manager, VP of Sales, Director of Advertising Sales, Board Member of the Washington Symphony, a successful contingent and executive search recruiter, a self-employed enterprenuar, newspaper reporter/ reporter/journalist and Financial consultant. I was trained as a teacher/reading specialist and journalist originally and I have been a lifelong musician/(flautist in the symphony and Irish whistle and fluteplayer in an Irish ceili band for 30 years. I have lots of volunteer and management skills and experience and am a good teacher and empathetic and a fair person. I believe in mentoring my subordenants and promoting teamwork. I think my boolean search expertise and headhunting experience play well into skills as a Reference or research librarian. ( I can find anything) But I also have very strong vendor management and negotiation skills, sales closing skills, interviewing and hiring/HR skills, budgeting and division management skills, all of which should be useful in a special or public library or corporate library setting. I have over 30 years of customer service experience also.
