    About Me:

My position has evolved over my years at Massasoit from a part-time Reference Librarian, to part-time Periodicals Librarian and computer trouble-shooter, to the position I hold now. My goal is to continue to grow in this position and try to improve communication to the college community about the resources the library has to offer in the pursuit of education and self-improvement. I am currently the professional staff member of the Massasoit Faculty Senate technology Committee. This group meets monthly during the academic year to discuss the technology needs of the faculty. I also Co-Chair the OCLN Technology Roundtable for one of the consortia. I am Co-Chair of the Old Colony Library Network Technology Roundtable. This group meets 4 times a year to discuss and share technological changes, innovations, and upgrades that affect the OCLN consortium libraries. Specialties Coordinating access to electronic resources through vendors and Network administrators. My knowledge of what the library needs and a good rapport with the IT department enables me to get things done in a timely manner. I also troubleshoot hardware and software issues in the library before contacting IT, often resolving the problem for the library.
