Library School Student (studying to be a librarian)
About Me:
I am a part-time graduate student / part-time English and Literacy tutor in the process of completing the dissertation for the MSc Econ LIS from Aberystwyth University. My dissertation seeks to determine whether link analysis can assist with digital image indexing and retrieval. Before moving to Washington, DC, I earned a BSc at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine after which I worked in various research institutions, the airline and retail industries. My interests include metadata, digital libraries, research and technology and I am currently looking for a full- or part-time opportunity. Having volunteered extensively at several non-profits, I am enthusiastic to become involved in a literacy program for children or young adults.
