About Me:

I'm a fresh librarian, seasoned marketer and true believer in librarians' getting out more and teaching literacy of all kinds to students of all ages. As a Computer Lab Assistant at the Indianapolis Central Library, I'm helping people from a wide variety of backgrounds learn to use computers, applications, social media and the Internet for professional and personal purposes. I also helped the Indianapolis Community Digitization Project plan and organize a long-term program for digitizing and publishing online collections of historical materials held by all kinds of organizations in Indianapolis. I earned a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University in 2012 after a career in marketing and communications at IBM. Specialties: Teaching digital and information literacy; reference; writing; editing; services evaluation; strategic planning, and marketing communications.
