About Me:
This is my 27th year as an educator and my 11th year as a librarian at Lubbock High School in Lubbock, Texas. I wanted to be a teacher from the time I could walk and talk. As a child, I would make the other kids on the block play school, and I toted my portable chalkboard up and down the street looking for pupils. In the 7th grade, I asked for a filing cabinet for Christmas! :) Teaching English at Lubbock High was a dream come true. I became the school's librarian in August 2006, and I continue to live my dream by teaching and learning with amazing students and faculty in a school rich with tradition and history. The library profession evolves daily, and I appreciate Library 2.0 and its members for helping educate me with the latest trends and ideas.
