    About Me:

As CEO and Co-Founder of Boston-based FableVision, Paul oversees the company’s educational media group FableVision Studios, and the K12 edtech publishing group FableVision Learning. Founded in 1996, FableVision is on a 200-year mission to create & share positive storytelling, media & technology, which help move the world to a better place. Reynolds also oversees, the 501 c3 non-profit Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning & Creativity (ReynoldsTLC.org), which partners with leading researchers and educational groups looking to prototype and produce innovative edtech tools, media, inspirational PD, and more generous creative evaluation tools. The Reynolds Center supports teacher and students’ creativity across the curriculum with a signature focus on STEM/STEAM. To that end, Paul has been instrumental in the development of the MAKER STUDIO digital fabrication software tool for the Fab@School Project - working directly with Dr. Peggy Healy Stearns and UVA's Dr. Glen Bull. Fab@School is designed to lower the on-ramp to meaningful STEM experiences in elementary and middle schools. Paul also is a key force behind International Dot Day, which is teacher-initiated program, which celebrates the themes of creativity and courage in Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot. As we approach September 15th, participating teachers, librarians and students already number 4.4 million in 128 countries. Paul teaches digital media production at Boston College, where he has served as adjunct faculty for nearly three decades. Paul is also a children's book author who collaborates with his twin brother Peter H. Reynolds (Judy Moody, The Dot, Ish, The North Star.) Their most recent books include Going Places (Simon & Schuster), a picture book about creativity and engineering, and a STEM-meets-Arts (STEAM) early chapter book series called Sydney & Simon, which includes Full STEAM Ahead! and Go Green! (Charlesbridge Publishing.) Paul also founded the Dedham Library Innovation Team - an award-winning 501c3 non-profit, which advocates for innovations in the school and public libraries in Dedham, MA. Paul keynotes across the country about the modern library's critical role in fostering the kind of creative problem-solvers and compassionate critical thinkers that we need to survive and thrive in the 21st century.
