About Me:

I am a lifelong Brooklynite and a 13-years plus veteran of the Brooklyn Public Library. As a young adult librarian, I enjoy reading coming-of-age and teen romance. I also enjoy reading women's memoirs, romance and cozy mystery novels preferably as audiobooks. I am also a mom of two young teen daughters, and they help me stay hip to what tweens and teens are into. When I'm not mothering or being a librarian, I spend my free time listening to podcasts, following "Black Twitter," watching an inordinate amount of movies and make up tutorials, and searching for the perfect blue lipstick. My favorite books of 2018 were The Kiss Quotient, Getaway Girl, Thornhill, and the graphic novel Fence.
