About Me:
I am passionate about learning. I work to inspire students and staff to develop their digital skills as well as being print savvy in today's continually changing educational landscape. I am also passionate about promoting a culture that celebrates reading in its many forms and developing reading skills in young people. I have maintained a continuous program of professional development and reading that has proven that all learning is useful and challenges even more so. Meeting those challenges has often led to the most profound learning opportunities and exposed me to new approaches for operating and ways of thinking. I have developed a strong personal learning network that also enriches my professional development and provides collegial support. One professional highlight was speaking to colleagues at a Singapore conference about the conjunction between developing digital skills and improving literacy.
