About Me:
Shauntee Burns is the Outreach Specialist for The New York Public Library. Ms. Burns’ duties encompass going to schools, libraries, and other outside organizations showing electronic resources to teachers, librarians, parents, and students. Her success in this area is supported by her knowledge of computers and ability to train the public and staff in workshops (that she creates). Ms. Burns’ favorite part of being a librarian is the outreach, because it allows her to interact with different people. She also loves telling everyone about the various materials and programs the library has to offer to support their educational needs or personal interests.
