About Me:
Shelee King George, M.A. Ed. Administration, is the Director of Professional Learning for Peer-Ed. She coordinates and implements several professional development initiatives. She delivers the Peer Coaching Facilitator Training to educators worldwide helping them build capacity for professional learning. Shelee has 25 years of experience in public education as a classroom teacher, an adjunct university professor, a technology integration specialist, and a facilitator for professional development programs. Shelee frequently presents at conferences and events. Currently, Shelee is completing the prestigious National Staff Development Council’s (NSDC) Leadership Academy 2011, is promoting professional learning across Washington state as the Communications Chair for the NSDC Washington Affiliate, and is promoting the work and development of Library Media Specialists as the Vice Chair of the ISTE SIGMS (International Society for Technology in Education Special Interest Group for Library Media Specialists). Shelee is passionate about connecting educators to impact classroom practice and student learning.
