About Me:
A former librarian, I am now a Writing Specialist in the Quality Enhancement Program, Writing.Realized., at Albany State University. I am very excited about what we are accomplishing. We are advocating the Connectivism learning theory to our QEP faculty cohort. Connectivism, known as "a learning theory for the digital age," uses the topography of computer networking as a metaphor for how we learn. One aspect of Connectivism is the idea that we learn from our Personal Learning Networks (PLNs). Our PLNs include people that we know and trust in order to enhance our knowledge. We share our own knowledge and expertise with those in our network as well.
