    About Me:

ABOUT Hi, I’m Steph. I’m passionate about maker culture, science communication and 3D printing. I have a background in biofabrication and 3D printing for medical grade implants. I’m currently the President of the Brisbane Hackerspace and the Community Engagement Coordinator at USQ, looking after the Library Makerspace. I also teach school to adult level 3D printing and 3D modelling classes tailored to the needs of the student. I’ve hosted talks and workshops for the Wonder of Science Program, QUT Creative Enterprise Australia, Brisbane Workshop, The Planting Festival and much more. I’m part of the 2017 Digital Champions Program, have been featured by Peppermint Magazine and was a finalist in the Women in STEM awards. I’ve also presented at the STEMaker Conference and STAQ Science is Primary Teacher’s Conference about building maker culture with older age groups. Don’t be afraid to shoot me an email if you’d like to have a chat. I’m at steph@piper3dp.com, or follow me on twitter.
