About Me:
Head Division of the Library Network of the City of Lisbon, since 2010, manages 17 libraries, 160 workers, with an annual budget 1.000.000,00 €. Responsibilities included the areas of Strategic Planning, Master Planning; Policies and Regulations, Staff training, Innovation, School libraries support. Experience in coordinating and facilitating change and innovation and strategic foresight in root projects or requiring a complete change. Responsible for Cultural Programming (Book Fair Lisbon, Education Project, Seminars, Storytelling Festivals, etc). Planed, developed and implemented a literacy program to Lisbon Libraries Network, based on Key competences for lifelong learning (European Reference Framework). Born in 1974 at Lisbon, I'm graduated in Social and Cultural Communication in 1998 (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) concluded a Master in Information Sciences (Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa) in 2002 and a Master’s degree in Archives, Libraries and Information Science in 2008 (Universidade de Évora), with a thesis entitled: “Emergent literacy: sharing books with babies from 9 months to 3 years”. Librarian-Coordinator of the Municipal Library Network in the City of Odivelas, from 2001 to January 2010.
