About Me:
Dr. Sylvia D. Hall-Ellis is the Director of Grants and Resource Development for the Colorado Community College System. She provides leadership and vision for the continued growth of rigorous scholarship, innovative research, and creative work for statewide system of 13 campuses and 50 teaching sites. Dr. Hall-Ellis works effectively and collegially with the CCCS Administrators and campus leadership teams on operational management activities of the grants team and with a broad range of internal and external constituencies. She serves as a subject matter expert and liaison for college grant officers for all issues relating to grants and subcontracts. Dr. Hall-Ellis has unique expertise in the areas of database building and maintenance, bibliographic cataloging, and grant writing. She has more than 40 years of experience working in libraries as an administrator, development officer, and project manager. She has written numerous technical reports, articles, and five monographs and has conducted major field-based research studies.
