    About Me:

Hi! I have been a librarian at NSU-BA since November of 2007. I hold the rank of Instructor (of Library Services) and fulfill the Resource Coordinator function for the faculty and students in the College of Liberal Arts as well as the College of Science & Health Professions. In addition, I oversee and direct the library reserves function for the Broken Arrow campus and help out with reference and collection development activities and other administrative tasks. Prior to academe, I was a police officer (25-year career) with the Tulsa (OK) Police Department. During the course of my law enforcement career, I went back to school, obtained my MLIS degree, and was able to put this degree to work for the police department where I created a highly specialized library from scratch. I retired from the police department in the spring of 2007 and entered academe in the fall of 2007.
