Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
The presentation will introduce the concept of the IFLA Green Library Award, its principles, its relevance to IFLA's goals and values and the criteria for the award. Afterwards, a number of winning projects from recent years by public and academic libraries will be showcased. The presentation is intended to encourage all libraries with sustainability on their agenda to submit their specific projects to the IFLA Green Library Award 2021 competition, in order to make them known to an international community.
