Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Peers in Libraries is an innovative approach to meeting patron’s social service-related needs. Peer Services Specialists are stationed in urban libraries, available to assist with resource navigation, referral, and connection. Peers use their lived experience with mental illness, substance use, homelessness, and/or criminal justice system involvement to build rapport and offer hope.
