Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Libraries are meant to connect students to different types of information. Learn how one high school librarian has transformed learning experiences through the use of virtual reality to extend learning. Learn how students who read Romeo and Juliet got to experience the globe theater, Juliet's balcony, and Juliet's tomb through virtual reality to help with their understanding of the novel. Using playlists on Youtube videos can be curated to create a virtual reality play list specific to the content of each class you are collaborating with. Dr. Dennison will share collaborations she has done with a variety of content levels and grade levels across the district. Dr. Dennison will also share how she budgeted and acquired equipment to be able to offer these opportunities.
