Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

What does it take to turn a temporary physical exhibit into an engaging, long-lasting digital experience? This session will explore the creative and technical journey of building a highly interactive 360-degree virtual exhibit designed to increase public engagement, enhance accessibility for remote visitors, and preserve the exhibit’s educational value beyond its physical display period.

The project began with a simple idea: to continue reaching visitors after the physical exhibit closed. But executing that idea proved complex. From acquiring the right software, to taking photographs that created a smooth atmosphere, to figuring out how to incorporate interactive elements—each step required creative problem solving and unexpected adjustments.

This presentation will walk participants through the entire process including the lessons learned. Attendees will leave with an honest look at what worked, what didn’t, and practical tips for starting their own virtual exhibits with impact and sustainability in mind.
