This presentation explores how science fiction narratives from Herbert, Asimov, Capek, and others provide critical frameworks for understanding the role of AI in education and society. Examination of fictional portrayals of human-AI relationships enables us to consider potential futures and implications of similar aspects of our lives. We will bridge literary wisdom with contemporary educational technology challenges, offering educators practical insights for responsible AI integration, community building, and ethical decision-making in instructional design and implementation.
