Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

"Vibe coding" is the practice of directing AI to build part or all of a website or application. Instead of the traditional model of a software developer building an application by typing lines of code, "vibe coding" relies on telling an AI in general language what to build, and then letting the AI write most or all of the actual code. This lets software developers work faster but more interestingly, it opens up the ability to develop software for non-technical folks!

In this session, we'll explain "vibe coding" by showing off a library data comparison app built by a library manager, not a programmer. We'll go through the app itself and the process of how it was built. Following that, we'll do a quick 5-10 minute demo of how vibe coding works, live, for the attendees. We'll then wrap up with a quick Q&A!
