I'm excited to take part in discussions and get to know you all. :-) My name is Rebecca and I'm a Government Documents Librarian at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I've been here for almost a year now (originally from Rhode Island!) and I'm basically revamping the department...it's a long story, but Hurricane Rita destroyed most of our collection (I arrived long after Rita hit, but I feel like I was there with all the damage that was left for me to work with) and I was hired after the former Government Documents Librarian retired. It's been challenging, but very exciting to watch the department transform. I'm passionate about public service, access, and web 2.0 initiatives.
