Our Boston City Council uses the Fritch Associates stenographic services http://resources.martindale.com/mhes/listing.jsp?R=87188db1The software is not up to date. The stenographic services are the same people grandfathered in over decades. For people with hearing loss we do not have closed captioning for the public meetings of the City Council broadcast on the web at http://cityofboston.gov/citycouncilWe do not have same day transcription drafts of Councilors' debate and remarks. How can we persuade our City Council offices to look into competitors that use more up to date stenographic software?...See alsohttp://www.scopists.com/Scopistryhttp://www.scopists.com
