Allen Ramsey is the Assistant State Archivist for the Connecticut State Library where he oversees the State Archives acquisition, arrangement, description, and preservation of government and non-governmental records of enduring value pertaining to the history and heritage of Connecticut. He is a member of several professional organizations and the Connecticut State Historical Records Advisory Board. Allen holds a BA in History from Winona State University, a Master of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
