    About Me:

    Arati Siram is presently working in Don Bosco International School (DBIS) in Matunga, Mumbai, as a Library Educator and managing the Learning Resources single headedly. She has over eighteen years of experience at the Teacher Training College and over ten years of experience working at different school libraries. She has helped with IB-PYP language arts instruction. Additionally, Arati has been serving as an information specialist and librarian for the IGCSE and IBDP. She believes in creativity, integrity and hard work. She has designed the spaces in the DBIS Library and curated learning resources for the whole school. At school, she is cultivating a lively reading community. She works with teachers, parents, and other school librarians to improve knowledge, digital literacy, and skill development in the school community. She is a lifelong learner. By embracing challenges in the AI era and using best practices in her day-to-day work, she has exemplified her beliefs. Her goal is to maximize the use of her knowledge, experience, and expertise gained over the years in order to empower student agency with skills and action. Her efforts towards progression in teaching-learning practices and developing students as global citizens make her unique.
