About Me:

I spent my early years in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas and I am the first person in my family to graduate from high school. Having now earned an MA in English from the University of Oregon, I am passionate about helping others rise through education too. I am also a single mother of two boys and an author who engages in discussions on comics history and fandom as well as multi-platform storytelling.
