About Me:
I have been the director of a small library in a rural community in Indiana for 2-1/2 years. Most of that time has been spent learning the many different (and often complicated) duties required to keep a public library going. In addition, a renovation project has been in the works for the past 2 years. So, I have had the added responsibility of moving the entire library into two separate units - storage for most of our collection and a the creation of a temporary library. Hectic times. We are in the process of moving back "home" - another huge task. While all this is happening in our small community, technology is advancing in ways it is difficult to even imagine. I believe it is part of my job to do the best I can to help staff and patrons alike understand and be able to use this new technology to its best advantage.
