    About Me:

    John Somers has a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University. He directs graduate studies at the UIndy College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. John teaches special education, STEM, and engineering courses to graduate and undergraduate candidates. His current research agenda focuses on the Question Formulation Technique in math and science classrooms, employing VR to enhance engineering education, and implementing engineering curricula in high school classrooms. John is a member of several grants, including National Science Foundation grants, Engineering 4 Us All and Engineering Community Inclusion of Individuals with Autism, and internal university grants including VR in modeling engineering practices.
