About Me:

My name is Karen Centeno, and I am the Director of Library Services at Concordia University Nebraska. My background includes library science education and music teaching in PK–12 schools in Virginia and Puerto Rico. As a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico in 2012, I received a master's degree in Library and Information Science. Currently I am working on an EdS in Leadership in Higher Education at Old Dominion University. Among my research interests are information skills, school libraries, academic libraries, first-year students, digital reading, and academic success.
