These services include regular staff training, collection development and managing a shared multi-district K-12 OverDrive digital consortium. I have served as a county appointed public library commissioner (2006-2013) and a six-year stint as an outside library consultant for Follett Library Resources from (2004-2010). In 2008 I created the award-winning program, Athletes as Readers and Leaders. I have been an American Association of School Librarians Knowledge Quest blogger (2016-2018) and recently contributed to last’s yearbook, 1968 Today’s Authors Explore a Year of Rebellion, Revolution & Change. In 2016 my office, in partnership with the Napa County Library, originated the model for California’s One Card Program. This program ensures student equity by utilizing also the K-12 student ID number as a full-service public library card. Currently, I serve on the CA Department of Education’s Recommended Literature Committee and as a GoOpen# Future Ready Schools Match K-12 Mentor
