About Me:
Kelly Peter is the Web & Systems Librarian at Murphy Library, University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. With a background spanning IT systems administration and nearly twenty years of library leadership across public and academic libraries, Kelly brings a wide-ranging perspective to her work in academic librarianship.
Her current research and practice focus on the intersection of visual literacy, information literacy, and web design, with particular interest in how digital environments shape the way students discover, interpret, and trust information. Kelly is passionate about user-centered design, accessibility, and developing systems that empower learners to navigate research with confidence in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
