About Me:

Lexie joined the Countway Library in July 2024 as the Library Digital Technology Specialist. In her role, Lexie will supporting and enhancing various technologies at Countway, including digital scholarship efforts, the podcast/video recording studio, and the growing 3D printing service. Additionally, as a member of the Publishing & Data Services team, assisting with the administration of software and hardware used by Countway patrons and staff, such as LibApps, Drupal/Web Admin, UX/Accessibility tools, the Digital Anatomy station, and VR/XR explorations. Lexie holds a Master of Arts in Media Design from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Film Technology from Beijing Film Academy. During her graduate studies, she worked in video production at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, and during her undergraduate years, she worked in the film industry and commercial advertising. Outside of technology, Lexie has also contributed her media tech knowledge as a media literacy teacher at a public high school in China.
