About Me:
I have been a librarian for nearly 20 years, in academic settings and in National Park Service positions. Before that, I was an interpretive park ranger, a museum technician (paleontology focus), highschool language arts teacher, and college writing instructor. As a librarian, I've worked on building and promoting a digital research collection, and as a reference and instruction librarian. Now I am a central support resource for all the libraries maintained at national parks and other offices and support centers throughout the NPS; I help administer the NPS LIBRIS ILS and provide guidance and training on library management, cataloging, and the use of library tools.
