    About Me:

    Lorraine is a Lead Librarian for Health Sciences at the Edward G. Miner Library, University of Rochester Medical Center. With over two decades of progressive experience at the University of Rochester, she has advanced from paraprofessional roles to a leadership position, demonstrating a deep commitment to health sciences librarianship, evidence-based practice, and academic collaboration. Lorraine specializes in systematic review support, information literacy instruction, and curriculum development, and has co-developed and taught credit-bearing and clinical education programs across dentistry, nursing, and medicine. Her scholarly work includes co-authorship on numerous peer-reviewed publications in oral health, medical education, and health equity, with over 850 citations and an h-index of 5. Lorraine is an active contributor to the Medical Library Association and its regional chapter, UNYOC, where she has held multiple leadership roles. She brings a collaborative, service-oriented approach to advancing research, education, and patient care through library innovation.
