    About Me:

    Michelle Gachette is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in research, information management, knowledge management, and community engagement. With experience in higher education, government, and non-profit sectors, Michelle excels in strategic planning, training development, and fostering partnerships. She has a proven track record of improving customer service, driving social action, and managing complex operations in academic libraries and archives at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia and holds certificates in Archives/Archival Administration and Copyediting. As the Chief Documentation Specialist/Officer of Metaframe Technology Solutions, a small fintech startup, she collaborates with senior leadership and department heads on the creation, maintenance, and improvement of comprehensive internal documentation for a corporate wiki. This role advocates for the documentation of policies and procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, based on best practices of records and digital asset management. She is based in the Greater Charlotte NC metro area and is a member of the following professional associations: AIIP, ALA (and divisions RUSA and BRASS) NCLA (division BLINC), and AIIP member.
