About Me:
My name is Miguel A. Murillo Ayala, and I work as an Instruction Librarian at Mesa. I am also a former student at San Diego Mesa College. I hold a Master's in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's in Chicana and Chicano Studies from UCLA. As a former student, I am passionate about serving the Mesa community and promoting social justice and inclusivity. My personal experiences as a Latinx first-generation student and a former undocumented student with learning disabilities have inspired me to advocate for equal opportunities. My educational journey has provided a solid foundation for my meaningful work.
