About Me:

Hi, I am in the process of officially becoming the SLRC Training and Reference Services Coordinator. I am starting to dive more into this position. I am the Virtual Reference Services Manager at the Enoch Pratt Free Library/SLRC, which involves overseeing the live chat, email, and book a librarian appointment services accessed by our library customers. I am the Librarian-In-Charge of the H.L. Mencken Room within the Special Collections Department at the Central Library/SLRC. I also meet with Grants Collection customers who need help with fundraising and nonprofit management projects. The Grants Collection is within the Business, Science, and Technology Department. I have been working in public libraries for 19 years. My career has been built around reference and customer service, public service, project management, instruction, and library technology. I am also an active volunteer in the American Library (ALA) and Maryland Library (MLA) Associations. My main role at the ALA is Past Chair of the RUSA Reference Services Section (RSS).
